HAPPY 3RD BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!! My only boy is 3!!! Easton had such a fun day. His cousin Savannah, Kelly and Fransisco were there along with my parents. Grandma and Grandpa Hatch left early that morning and Easton opened their presents then.
Easton is the sweetest boy ever. He is always concerned about his sisters and when something fun is about to happen he always looks around to make sure his sisters are there with him and if they aren't he won't do anything until they are there. He loves his family and loves Dudley. Man that dog takes alot! I caught him yesterday holding Dudley's back legs and walking him around his room! He loves playing outside and every evening he turns the bathwater light brown. He has the most amazing blue eyes and when he is done going to the bathroom I hear 'mom all done!' Every night I sing 'Twinkle twinkle little star' and at the end of every phrase he squeeks really high. I have no idea why he does it but I treasure it. Every Sunday he doesn't want to go to church and lately he cries in Nursery but when the meetings are all over he runs to me and says 'that was so fun mom!!!' Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!
HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOM AND MARSHA!! I would post a picture of my mom and me eating our breakfast that Shaylar made (unbelieveable omletes) except we both look like a desil truck ran us over. Ha not joking..... Shaylar and the kids made breakfast in bed for us and my mom said that Paige spilled the orange juice on the bed and that was her favorite part. Got to love that Paigey! Man, I really have the best mom in the whole world. It was a wonderful Mother's Day. Thanks honey and kids!
We went out to eat at Waldo's Bbq which has the best food but the crapiest service ever!!! We have been burned there about three times now and vow to never go back. They are really screwing up a good thing. It was fun visiting....'that was rude!!' ha ha ha and 'sir are you alright?'

Oh my gosh once AGAIN Easton came up to me complaining that his nose hurt. I tilted his head up and saw a blue 'something' up his nose! Last time it was a small screw and this time it was a blue light bright peg! He is such a boy!!! I got it out with my tweezers.

This is Shaylar before I introduced him to a pair of sissors! His hair was so long and no he did not wear it this way to workor everyday! He really has the thickest most shiny hair.

And this is him after!! What a difference-I love it-he even went crazy and put in some highlights which I thought was fun.

Last weekend we went to the valley for Bruce Haslam's surprise 60th birthday party. He looks great and it was so much fun to see everyone! The kids played outside on the blowup waterslide and some went swimming. They were so cold but determined to play!! Bruce and Susan Haslam have been dear friends of my parents for about 23 years. I grew up with their kids and we went on lots of vacations together. I consider them family. Happy Birthday Bruce!!!!

Easton would not take his floaties or his mask off. It was hilarious watching him slide down the waterslide!

My sweet family braving the water. You won't be catching me in a swimsuit for awhile--ha ha ha (give me a break Brinley is only one month old! :)) Plus I only enjoy swimming when I can get out of the water and it is so hot outside that I'm not cold.

On our way back to Show Low we stopped at the top of the rim to look at the view and take a picture. It really is so beautiful. We even got Dudley in the picture!

Now Mom don't freak out; it wasn't a 500ft drop just a 200ft drop. HA! J/K It was the prettiest potty break we ever took....the rest room was closed.....

Ok we had a huge fun weekend and I didn't take one picture!! Since this is my family journal I thought I would at least type about what we did for postarity sakes. Shaylar put in the bubbler system and we planted flowers and shrubs in the front yard. It took all Friday and we were filthy!! Then our friends Keith and Raunlyn West came over with their kids and we played Rock Band. It was pretty fun and I'm impressed with those kids that can really rock!! Saturday Shaylar finished the bubbler system and Tim our electrician came over and put in the pendant lights above our bar. They picked out the lights and I must say when they are on it looks like Harley Davidson fire flames.....don't know if I like them!! Ha-I'll wait a while then switch them out! Also Shaylar is trading out some landscaping so a couple of guys worked outside flattening the ground around the playsystem to prepare for a brick enclosure. I'm so excited! Then Saturday night we went over to Becky and Phil Strattens house to watch the UFC fight with Paige and Trec Reidhead and their extended family. Good fight - St. Pier has the best body and won. We also had the best food- thanks!! Sunday I slept in until about one! When I got up Shaylar and the kids cleaned the entire house and had food ready. It was amazing-I almost cried!! Anyway we all stayed home from church and hung out really doing nothing. Sometimes its really nice to just hang out and not go anywhere. Well its Mondays and back to the old grind!!!! ..fun weekend

This picture was taken by my sweet mother-in-law Marsha when we got home from the hospital. Its similar to the one I posted earlier but the look on Easton's face is hilarious! "Holy Crap I'm surrounded by girls!!!" Marsha was with me my final week of pregnancy I was so big and awkward just lifting my leg to get in bed hurt. If it wasn't for her help I think my neighbors would of called CPS cause Taylor would of never made it to school and Paige and Easton would of wondered the streets in their pajamas!! Ha! Ha! Brinley's birth was great timing cause Marsha and my Mom were both there, Shaylar made the dental conference (Marsha stayed home with me while Barry and Shaylar went to the dental convention in Phoenix. I think I would of died without her help! I told her between all her service she has given to Kelly and me that her house will sell!), and I was able to go to Keith and Charayye's Open House. Hooray! Thank you Grandma Hatch for everything!!!!!!!.....I hear Brin starting to wake up so see you later!

My parents have had Paige and Easton at their house in the valley for the past week so I can get some rest after having little Brinley. THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!!!!! This past week has been so nice to be able to relax. Taylor has been a fantastic help and wonderful big sister. I can tell she really loves Brinley. I can't tell you mom and dad how thankful I am that you did this for me. I know you are exhausted-my kids can be crazy!!! Well everyone is home again and I can tell that my life is going to get really busy really quick and I'm starting to panic. I get these overwhelming feelings that I'm not going to be able to pull this off-am I hormonal? -probably but I know with the Lord's help I can do this.
I need to add fun stuff to my blog like music and videos but I don't know how. Keep in touch and hopefully I'll have figured it out-I'm going to call my sister Truly.

This is my first family blog entry! I thought it would be a great way to journal the events that happen in my family because I'm a horrible journal writer and something needs to change because I think documenting your family fun is wonderful!!! (nice run-on sentance I know)
Well this past weekend was my Dad's birthday and so my parents both came up this weekend to celebrate. Shaylar and I treated them to Charlie Clarks Steak House (I'm still recovering over that huge dinner) and Shaylar forgot his wallet! It was hillarious so Mom paid and of course we paid them back. We are finally at a point in our lives where we could take them out to dinner and we forgot our wallet and purse!!! The next day we went to ride the ski lift at Sunrise after church on Sunday. It was a beautiful day with bouts of rain. We all rode up to the top and then Shaylar, Papa, and Taylor decided to walk down so Mom, Easton, Paige and myself rode the lift back down. It was so cold and luckily I found the kids smimming towels in the truck so we wrapped ourselves up and decided to ride the lift again. Not more than 30 seconds into the ride it started to rain!! There was thunder in the distance and I thought we shouldn't get off at the top but head back down and get out of the rain (I found out later that they wouldn't of let us off anyway). All of a sudden this massive lightening and thunderstorm formed right over us!! The lightening caused a power surge and stopped the lift. So here I was dangling from a 'steal cage' with my two kids and Mom right smack in the middle of the storm. Lets just put it this way, I didn't know lightening made a sound before it strikes. The lightening was so close that one hit a tree (according to Shaylar) and the thunder was deafening. Mom and I started singing every primary song we could think of and pretended to be fine while we said 'ready? ready? Boom! trying to make light of the storm all the while praying we wouldn't get struck! I know Easton and Paige were terrified but they never cried just wimpered every once in awhile saying they wanted to go home. The lift would start up again and then stop after going about 4 feet which would cause us to swing! When lightening struck the top of the bolt was above us and the bottom was below us! We were sitting close together holding the towels over ourselves trying to stay dry (helped a ton but we still got wet). After a few false starts we finally made it to the bottom and gathered in the first aid station with another family! Everyone was saying how terrified they were, and how we were all praying and what a frightening experience it was!!! Shaylar, Taylor and Papa finally walked out of the woods soaked to the bone about 15 minutes after we got down. They found cover in a small shack; luckily the door was open and they waited until they felt it was safe and then proceded down the mountain. Shaylar was holding Taylor (who was very scared) and I started to cry when I saw them. Mom said she welded up when we finally got off the lift from relief and gratitude. We were all safe and on the way home we said a prayer of thanksgiving for keeping us all safe. This picture was taken right before this all happened. I don't think I've ever been that close to actually thinking I could die. Happy Birthday Dad!! Well we came home had a yummy birthday dinner with cake and icecream safe and sound.
Taylor has joined a peewee cheerleading squad which has really boosted her self esteem, started second grade, and starts piano lessons this Friday-hurray! Paige started preschool and she loves it. She is so ready for school. The first day she walked in, hung up her backpack and walked out to the backyard without even glancing at me! I had to ask her for a goodbye hug! Easton is growing and talking clearer everyday. He is such a sweet, kind little boy! All is well here on the Hatch Home Front. Talk to you soon.
